Having read the instructions and websites .Iwas wondering if there is a quick and simple way to fit easy brackets to hardstreet slimbags Where I think the bag should sit on the bracket is not flat ,so the bracket does not sit level .

Ran into this as well. I just ran out and picked up some large galvanized washers to use as spacers. Not particularly elegant or anything, but fixed the problem for ~$2.

I thought the only difference was the length of the bolts included? I think he's talking about how the back of the slimbags is contoured and there's no place to put the bracket on an entirely flat spot.

My bike has the backrest .I did think about using rubber washers between bracket and bag to level it .This ,I thought ,was the easiest option .
