Check over on members location and see whose near by mate. Looks like Coneye is in Adelaide. Dont forget to ask Birdy to add you to the map as well.

Welcome to the forum buddy.

If you solve the screen conundrum let me know - not found one that fits properly yet

What do you think of the National Cycle screen that Eddy has tested and posted ? With you being in the 'taller frame' club, that slightly higher screen would be much better for you. I think the bottom of the screen would need some sort of stainless trim to match the d/headlights though. Or - a bit of trimming to suit.

I'm working with the folk at Windvest to get something sorted for the storm...

I've tried the 14"x14" but the standard brackets make it sit too high and its a little on the small size.

I'm having the 18"x16" sent out and will try it with different brackets...will report back how it goes.

Actually I bought it this week. Doesn't look as bad as I expected and certainly makes a major difference to the riding experience. The fit has loads of flexibility and I have the rake set to keep the wind off of chest and head. Will post some pics but I am happy with, although I would change it for a better looking one if it ever comes along.

Hi Matt

Looks better with a screen than I thought it would. You have made a good choice what with your height and all. It does make the whole touring game a lot easier.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Wind shield is sorted - ended up with the smoked 18x14 Windvest...will post better pic when I install it again.

Eight...good to hear the National Cycle screen is working for you...I'm really happy with the Windvest.

Coneye, I got it with the short pipes - best mod so far!

Craig/Coneye...its due for its 1st service...any recommendations re good mechanics in Adelaide?

Dizze...can get big big bore kit if you want the extra 100!

coneye, if you want louder and deeper the foruns are deffinitly that
some people think they are too loud, they are loud when you are on the gas hard but that's when you want to hear them growl
foruns do make the same looking mufflers as the short tors as well and they sound nearly as good as the razorbacks

Remember, soft cocks hang around all life long, hard ones come and go

ahh f**k im deep
