Does anyone have any experience with this light bar? Seems like a great looking alternative to the big bulky Triumph light bar for the bird. Any reason why this would not be compatible with the Bird? Link

Looks kinda cheezy to me. Plus the way he shows it mounting, you still would need the Triumph light bar to mount them.
Just my opinion

Personally I'd go with the Motolights Link

They're very high quality, have custome brackets for anywhere you want to mount them, are available in a wide variety of finishes, are guaranteed for life (even including the bulbs) and really light things up. Mine are on the brake calipers and mounted that low I have never had an oncoming car flash their high beams at me. They hook right up to the aux. light switch on the TBird too. I know it's a matter of personal taste, but I think they look much better than this alternative, and leave the stock signals in place. The brushed finish matches the caliper, wheel and fork tube perfectly, but you can get chrome, black, whatever.

Thanks guys. I saw some of the earlier posts on the motolights and really like them too. Pretty sure I'm going to get Caliper mounted motolights but I was thinking of also getting these baron lights to create a hexagram pattern of light. Maybe that's overkill though. Probably just get the motolights. the brushed finish really does look good along side that fork lower.

You will be very visible with the motolites. I have the 50 watt version and they are very bright and noticeable, but as feduke says, they don't bother the cars being so low. I put my son on my bike and I rode his in front so I was able to see first hand how they look. With the 50watt motos and the headlight on high beam, it boarders on obnoxious because it looks like you have three highbeams. Because of this I now ride with my headlight on low and the motos on night and day.

I'm glad some one brought up motolights. I was making a list of parts I want and forgot those.

Ordered my today after having a richard cranium pull out right in front of me in broad daylight last week.

Apparently we are not like cats and only have one life so I will try to prolong this one

Have you any close up pics of your set up. I am interested in these as an alternative to the HD type light bar.

Mat - Here are a couple of shots. I'm doing my spring cleanup on the bike so I turn them on and snap a shot or two later today from the front:

These look really unobtrusive but add the secondary light source for visibility which is exactly what I was looking for. I really don't care for the OEM light bar. Much too Law Enforcement looking for my taste.

I am looking forward to getting mine installed on the bike. The incident when the car pulled out right in front of me had got me a bit spooked

You could put on a 10,000 candle search light and there would still be some donkey in a cage who "didn't see you" .

Every time I see a car in a side street I expect them to pull out and act accordingly, most times they don't, but like you they have tried to get me in the past. Think Bike

OK, I should have shot this without a tan background or at dusk, but here is a shot of the motos all lit up - they are much more visible than the pictures suggests:

To give you an idea of how much more visible, when a friend and I ride, on our way home, he gets off of the highway before me. I usually hit the throttle and pass him first and I'm probably 1/2 mile in front by the time he exits. He and I have the Silver Star headlight bulbs which I think are better than the PIAA. From that 1/2 mile distance I can still see his MotoLites clearly, but the headlight beam is no longer even visible. Another friend jokes that he makes me lead because he gets a sunburn if he rides in front of me. They are super, and don't bother oncoming drivers when mounted on the brake calipers, at least.
