Sorry. This one slipped by. I had them on up until a week or two ago when I went over to the Black ISO grips. I wanted a slightly larger diameter grip and ISO is that. That being said, AVONs were awesome, had a great tooth on the rubber, and went on like a dream. Super Easy.

Good Luck.

I rally like the look of these Avons

I had ISO grips on my America and liked them but found them a bit thick for my fairly small hands

It seems that these grips are not much wider than stock (1.6" versus 1.5") so they should suit me well

More money to spend!

I have a set of black anodized ones if you are interested. I went to the new black ISO for the exact reason you are moving in this direction. I need something bigger for my bigger hands.

Let me know.

No. They seem to be all one piece. Even the throttle boss on the chrome ones above seems to be a clip on accessory.

Resurrecting this as I have tested them and they work. Throttle boss is incorporated into the grip. Or with out.

I bought a set off you Eddy and everything is fine except the lateral movement (side to side) on the throttle grip inside the original Triumph housing, any ideas on how to tighten it up?

I had the same issue with my Kuryakyn ISO grips and to remove the side movement I used a section of PVC pipe (home garden irrigation system pipe actually) that was the same size as the handle bars. I cut it to size or on this case, length and slid it down the inside of the grip so I had about 1mm or less movement that still allowed the grip to rotate freely without binding.

Mods: Chrome wheels, chrome forks, chrome water manifold, chrome switch blocks, front axle covers, Speedmaster tank badges, chrome pulley, chrome swing arm covers, chrome lower belt guide, chrome upper and lower fork yokes, deuce risers, kuryakan iso grips, chrome fork nut and centre bearing caps

Kurys were the same mate, I was going to drill a small hole in the end of the grip, loctite a small screw and washer in to the original bar thread at the correct depth to take that movement out, but the kury crap broke and saved me the trouble.

I just slid the control components until the slack was taken up and it was fine (left a little so it moved freely on throttle side)

I like them better than ISO as they are larger than stock but not as full in the hand as ISO

I fitted them along with the Breakaway Cruise Control which I have posted in the Technical Section "How to Step by Step Section".

I likewise found the sideways movement but used the Poly Pipe fix suggestd by Slotter above.
I also found that I had about 3-4mm of endfloat which I took up by slipping a 30mm O'ring between the Grip & The Switch Gear housing.I couldent move my Swithch gear and handpiece along the bars as Eddy suggested as mine has a Locating Pin that keeps them all in the original location on the bars.
I choose the Honda Cable Adaptor that comes with them as the preferred cable connector ring.

These are totally great grips. Bought my Heritage Softail with original grips that made my left hand numb (HD evo, you know!). Then got rid of those old and ugly grips and installed these air cushioned ones. Great -> no more left hand going numb and they look very smart. I have quite big hands but still these feel really comfortable and right sized, especially compared to those terrible HD original ones.

I can really recommend these grips. Real value for the money spent!
