Custom Explorer seat by Saddlemen Link
I had a modified Explorer seat on my America. No question the best money I have ever spent on a motorcycle accessory. An added bonus for me is that the Explorer seat on my America raised the seat height by one or one and a half inches for a bit more legroom.

Saddlemen seem to be closed for the holidays (calls go straight to voicemail) but I intend to check into having one if these made for me/

"Is Walter R from Bremen Georgia on this forum? I would be interested in hearing from him if he is.

I spoke to Saddlemen yesterday. They can make me a custom Explorer seat for $480. They need my seat pan from the OEM seats and it will take about three weeks. They can make some adjustments to give me slightly higher seat and also put me a bit further back to get more legroom.

I will be away for almost three weeks at the end of January so I will probably get it done then.

I hope it's as good as the Explorer seat on my America was.

Sounds like a plan! Be sure to post pictures when you get it.

That looks damn comfortable! And looks to work properly with the Triumph backrest. Very nice.

Good to see more companies bring the Bird on board for their gear.
