Been researching pullback risers for my 'Bird... had a couple great email exchanges with Eddy, and have been leaning heavily towards the Deuce style risers he sells. However, also am thinking about just going for broke and getting the Triumph beach bars with their extended cable kit. Sat on the bike and used some old kury grips to simulate where the beach bars would put me compared to the stock bars and it really seems to be just the right position for my hands.
I'd really like to hear from others who've gone that route as to how it's worked for them so far. Also anyone who is using the stock bars with the Deuce risers... what they had to do to make a good fit, etc.

I put the Triumph wide bars on about 2 weeks after the bike arrived. In fact the extended cables were already on at pre-delivery, because I knew I was either going to put Mag10's 'Riser Blocks' or the Triumph wide bars on eventually, so I got the dealer to change the cables before I picked her up.
I went for the slight pull-back effect because I found the standard bars just ever so slightly forward for my build. My late dad told me, many yars ago, that the way to size yourself to a set of bars is to sit on the bike, close your eyes and stretch out your arms and rest them onto the grips and when I did that on the standard bars they were about 1" too far forward.
I was going to keep the standard bars and put on Mag10's riser blocks from eddy to keep the same angle of the grip across my palms because I was concerned that the Triumph bars were 'angled off' a little, and I thought this might cause some ergonomic issues. Since fitting the wide bars I can't say I even notice that angle any more.
I find the genuine Triumph wide bars very, very comfortable, but what works for me isn't necessarily going to suit someone else!
My 2 cents worth anyway.........................

I'm 6'1" and the stock reach was just a little to far for comfort. I did re-route the left side cables from in front of the tree to behind it. The right side was fine with just a little adjustment on the brake cable.
p.s. EDDY, hope all gets better! All the BIRD riders here are praying for you guys.
