there is mention of that here somewhere seemd from what i recall "it does what it says on the tin"
not sure if tuneecu can cover most and for the price of a cable £7 as the software is free. daz or diz for ecu software comp.
cant recal who had the tool though

It is a diagnostic tool. It WILL NOT reflash the ECU. Worth every cent, IMO.

Tuneecu doesn't do that,. As far as i know all it does as diagnostics go is show any fault codes, but you can't run any tests afaik.

Actually TuneECU will let you run a bunch of tests. There is an entire TEST screen, plus the DIAG and MAP screens.

The only, for real advantage to the DT is that it will allow you to open the ABS secondary valves for fully purging old brake fluid.

But, several members have pointed out how that probably isn't necessary and I don't even know what or where these
valves are or how much fluid they retain.

In the SM I see a bit about fast adaption that perhaps this dealertool can do. But, 12 minute adaption is preferable IAC.

Well, I take that back. It can reset adaption as well. (tests are gray since I'm not hooked up, but I have run these tests)
No flap or second throttle, of course. That's for Rocket. Those 4LA at the bottom are for Rocket, as well, I think.
