I have the same setup and no probs with fitting. I use a long series ball end allen wrench and put the screw through the hole in the seat bracket first. Line up the front bracket and the rest comes together by starting the screw before the bracket touches the fender.

had same issue had to order: Ball End T-Handle Sets - Inch & Metric, to do the job more easily use the ball end wrench as long as you can buy for leverage, then yoy don;t have to worry about ripping the seat to shreds!!
how these guys designed such a great bike but must have farmed out the accessory design to a turd world country.

personally for the little effort it takes to fit the seat with the bracket almost hidden appears neater to me.
my preference and with the right tool no problem

Yeap. Ball-end hex, it goes on and off no problem. Regular hex, it's a pain and you'll risk damaging the seat.

Spot on, Kando.

Fantastic bike, but the list of problematic, or badly designed, or just outright ugly shortcuts they have taken on the accessories is pretty piss poor.

The fact they had to do this weird shit with the LH seat also tells me they should have put the mounting bolt for the pillion seat about an inch further back.
