For riding, if it rains? I can't find anything. I can get a rain suit...fine. But, doesn't the seat soak up water?

I wouldn't worry about it, I have had mine in a rainstorm plus washing and the water just beads up, I think they are pretty waterproof unless it is submerged. I usually have a towel with me to wipe it off.

supposed to be made from vinyl, waterproof
just wipe off surface water with hand and sit

been out in some very heavy storms, last one 3 weeks ago
there was no seepage in the seat

i do sometimes clean the seat, which will add a thin protector, but thats likely to be worn off fairly quickly.

thanks guys...I should have checked eddy first. -dooh- And, like zolti said, these are supposed to be "actually" waterproof.
IAC, I'm assembling winter kit. Not that we have a winter...OK, then, a wet season kit.

I have ridden my tbird through at least a dozen good storms. No seat issues.
