What I recommend after 7000 or so miles are the Tbird originals and a cheap flight case.

I can recomend this...

Rigg Pak Sissybar bag Dayrunner CTB350

Great bit of kit, this has enough capacity to last me for a week. I have hard bags also but prefer to ride without if I can. Also ride solo most of the time so sit the bag on rear seat or fender rack. It will fit on the sissybar rack no problem.

Here is the setup I used on my Rocket when I went to Bike Week in Daytona and Key West and back to Molino, FL back in 2008.

The roll bag I bought further on into the trip after I left Daytona, had to have something to put all my new t-shirts in, it is also a T-Bag product. They both come with plastic rain covers.

This set up held a lot, including shoes and laptop and several changes of clotheds. The big bag has 2 zippered pockets on each side and it also has wheels and a pull out handle to move it around once you take it off the bike.

I know the Corbins aren't made for the T-Bird but I was just addressing the luggage rack usage. This way you could also carry a passenger as well.

Have finally ridden my 2010 Phantom Red Haze Thunderbird, picked it up in Feb 09, 2011, enjoyed the ride...now I am back in the sand box.

Hi Woody, it's the Channel Tunnel. Very efficient and not too expensive but it is quite a ride from where I live at the moment. I have two options to get to mainland Europe, over (or under) the English Channel to France or across the North Sea to Belguim or Holland. I prefer the overnight boat to Zeebrugge, Belgium. Going to Slovenia via Zeebrugge on a 9 county tour (including Triday (Triumph Day) in Austria) in June. Every year I get my wonderlust satisfied with a big tour. Started with just 2 of us, this year 10 have already booked up.

Fast Eddy has a similar line of steel-framed, stackable bags that are very nice: Link

I've had great experiences with Twisted Throttle and their Bags Connection line of stuff. I'm getting this bag for my 10K mile USA trip in May...

Bluenose ,sounds like you will have a ball. I was actually born in Reading, England but came over to Australia when I was two.
I thought that it was likely to be the channel but wasn't sure.
thanks mate

Are you planning to use Traveller-HD with pillion seat on or on tubular rack? I found one place on Ebay, that sells it with quite reasonable price compared to Finnish stores and I'm planning to get one if I can sort out to what I'm planting it on. Link

Edit : What a coincidence! Store is located in Limburg, Germany and that's exactly where I am heading 29th of november
