I'm going to replace mine soon and i think i have a grip on how to do it for the most part. The question is about alignment. I have heard it said that the swingarm must be aligned right so the belt runs right, but i don't see how there would be any way to adjust it. Far as i can tell from GerPa's tutorial, theres a "frame adjuster" but it appears to be a threaded sleeve you put in and torque to 6 Nm. So how is that adjustment if you simply adjust it to 6 Nm? What am i missing?

Daz I have not done one yet and have not read up on it for a long time. I would think that the 6nm torque is probably just taking up any play in bushes. I'm thinking any other alignment would be with the engine itself, after all we align the two pulleys, the swingarm just has to sit in it's spot without any play.

Thanks, hats it. I remember now. It WAS engine alignment i now recall reading about. And the bushing is certainly to take up play which is why i couldn't see how anything there would be adjustable. I will have to devise a way to make a torqeable blade like GerPa did to torque that thing. Guess i better order the belt b 4 they're all gone.
