i just wanted to get some opions on something that has been bothering me. I have that tuning module coming, but it's a piggyback device, and i may want a richer tune to get closer to my setup when i remove the seat duct and widen the filter mouth. So i have long wondered whether there was anything to be concerned about with the 1700 tune on a 1600 as some of you are running. The one thing that is a bit worriesome to me is the fact that the 1700 cams probably require change in timing. For those who are more knowledgeable than myself when it comes to cams and timing, what do you think about this? Do you think there MUST be a timing change in the BB maps, and if so how you you think it would manifest itself with the milder stock cams, or can you even guess w/o the cam specs?

There was a thread back in May about this, started by Keets.
