My left mirror has developed an annoying buzz - glass and mount are tight, something inside starts buzzing whenever I take my hand off grip, loud enough to hear over wind and engine up to freeway speed.
Any spare mirrors out there?

Just wondering if your risor insulators are bad or maybe a set of bar end weights.

Everything is tight, really no vibration to speak of. Touching mirror - front, back, side, anywhere - stops the buzz. Right one doesn't do it.... mystery to me. Almost like an alarm goes off whenever I let go of left grip. I'll check it again, maybe readjusting stem and angle will stop it.

Finally took left mirror off and shook it all different ways, sure I'd hear something rattle, but no. Solid as a rock.
So, since any mods are usually first suspect, I took grips off and extracted the bar end slugs I made for OEM bar end weights when I went to custom bars. (Left 'em in place after changing to Avon grips and Mat's throttle sleeve as they were really wedged into bars.)

Both were still tight, still had their chrome M6x1.0 screws in place, but they're out now. Also cleaned throttle sleeve and cable ends.
I (again) have to applaud Mat's skill and precision, throttle sleeve is smooth as silk and a perfect fit to bar, everything still looks new.

Installed a new (T3550204) "tolerance ring" and reinstalled left mirror, torqued to 10 Fig Newtons, all good to go.
But - will buzzing noise be gone now? Place your bets!

BTW, if anyone wants stock 1600 handlebars, pillion pegs, forward pegs/controls, stock gas cap, whoknowswhat else, drop a line.
