Damn, I would so love to have those but $5000 for wheels is just a bit beyond what I'm willing to do. Any idea if they are tubeless or not?

What's up whit that front fender though? don't care for that much.

I am going to stop reading this forum... too expensive...

wonder if a single spoked in front could run with the original in the bac? may be easier to find an aftermarket or crossover application easier that way..

I wouldn't give up my TBIRD wheels for nothing! I had spoke wheels on my America and also on my show car.
They are nothing but a pain in the ass to clean. Love my TBIRD aluminum wheels!

yeah there is a solid bit of logic. reason. rationale.

spokes are for wagons.

spokes are for wheel washers.

spokes are still classic...

Amen. In *general* i like the looks of more traditional bikes than a lot of todays contraptions, especially sportbike affairs. But spoked wheels ain't one of the reasons why ! I'll happily keep my alloys thank you. Agreed on the fender. Makes me wanna hack mine up, tho the paint on edges would likely chip off like crazy.

look good actually but that price is crazy. for that money i would rather be able to run tubeless and some nice custom billett wheels.

I think they look great - I would go for that style and I 'm sure i can get on fine with just one kidney.(or would i need to sell both)

If I could afford to hand over that sort of wedge for wheels I would have someone clean them for me.

5 grand???? WTF, that's drug money.

I'm going to stay with my nice beefy chromed rims thanks anyway. I dig spokes but I prefer the way the rear looks on my 'Bird and I cant see spokes on a wheel that wide. Front might be nice though

I do like the look (on the front anyway), but with dual discs up front, there's NO WAY I'd even consider a spoked wheel.

Also, the price is flat-out insane. If you can buy a 10-speed at a department store for $100 with spoked wheels, these shouldn't be 50 times the cost. Maybe they're priced per-spoke?

When i check the price list for US spoke wheels and add all needed parts on below mentioned website ,
price is nearly the same, check it out.

HDWHEELS

The US owners should always think about that what you have to pay in USD we have to pay in EURO

Oh I agree, but at $5k that's the better part of a tiger there. (not to mention a sizable down payment on a divorce)

Wow - they look absolutely fantastic.
But .......
Spokes are not for me any more. I have lost count of the hours lost just cleaning them.
Good luck to you and I'm envious of the looks but the maintenance and the side of the road puncture repairs (and the cost!) stop me.
Enjoy - you will have earned the right!

Yeah there's too many spokes on these anyway. But, I don't like solid, so aluminum cut outs will have to do.

No doubt spokes are cool, but, lupo, wouldn't this be a performance mod? Lighter weight?
