Having an issue with my 2014 TB Storm
Keep it running and riding.. no problems
Leave it overnight and it needs multiple cranks to start... so many, that it drains the battery.
So, I have been using a jump cable from my car battery while cranking.... 10 -15 minutes of cranking and it starts finally.
Typical symptoms while going through this tedious process - coughs up but doesn't start.
On continuous cranking , the time between the coughing intervals gradually reduces and it finally starts..
(have to keep the throttle on twist all the time for the coughing to happen)
When it starts, the RPM is below 1000 so if you let go of the throttle, it coughs up and dies.. 5-7 minutes of keeping the RPM up to 1000-1200, the idling RMP suddenly comes towards 1000 and it is ok.
(Thought it was a battery issue and my battery was 4 years old.. so got a new Yuasa one from the dealership)
If I keep running it multiple times over the day, it starts just fine... leave it for over 7 hours .... the same issue is starting me in the face
PS: the minimum temperature of this place (Bangalore, India) doesn't go below 8-10 degrees (Celcius)
Before going to the Dealership , wanted to take expert opinion
(the service station mechanics are clueless most of the times and the experts usually don't have that much time owing to the volume of vehicles.. this city has just one dealership and one service center for around various 15000 bikes sold)

Do you have Tune Ecu ??
If not, get a cable and download for free.
It will show most sensor readings, plus error codes.
I suspect the engine temp sensor is faulty, making the ECU fuck up.
