i can say i would be willing to give up 5 TQ for 10hp, this bike makes big tq and i think could give some up without noticing to much, but lacks hp once its moving. i know others will not give up tq but i would to gain some more hp

I think in that case it would be easy to do a seat pants compare. Unstrap the rubber trumpet boot, and pull it out.
I think you can do that without taking off the tank. You are still reversible. Rig with wire tie, a pair of oiled foam
DIY filter pieces. Use the TOR map, see how it feels.

If you like it, let us know. Thatch and I have been looking at v-stack tops with inline filters. There are some
good finishing solutions for this config, I think. If you can pull enough air, you should get more HP, a bit less TQ.

Heat from the engine could be a problem. You'd like cool air.

The usage of these tools in the real world is a bit different than I imagined. Take F-trim for example.

We could download changes and see the effects on the dyno, but at some point we turned to testing
TuneECU. We tried to read the map that we just downloaded and none of the changes showed up.
--------------------

Ah ha. Commit F-Trims!

There is some flash memory, perhaps, on the ECU. Because if it was just RAM it would take current to
hold the values with the key off.

So, downloaded changes are there, but not burned into the EEPOM (also called Flashing, different from Flash memory)
So, it's very fast. Change - Test - Change - Test - Change.

When happy, then Commit. That download took a bit longer it seemed. Pretty Cool.

Another thing I notice is that those numbers in the Fuel tables must be milligrams of fuel not air, as I once suspected.
Or, maybe not even milligrams, but some other measure of fuel. When you add to F-trim say, +10% in a region,
then you will see a bigger number in the Fuel table (after you Commit)

So, I max at about 14 grams of fuel per ignition event at 2400 to 3400 rpm and 60% throttle? Can that be right?
