there are hundreds if not thousands of harley exhausts made for 1200-1700 cc two cylinder engines.. would these be generally workable if made to fit?

how about the custom pea shooters? if the inlet pipes fit, and if they are straight throughs, how much difference can it make?

if the triumph pea shooters for a smaller triumph, say one of the 900's, could fit, and if they are generally open or non-restricitve, how much dirrerence can it make?

i have seen all from straight-ass pipes to huge bells on harleys, apart from noise and looks, they must be servicable pressure wise?

any input welcome..

I guess the problem is not pressure changes, per se. It's that we can't re-tune the fuel flow maps for those new pressures.
Can't risk leaning the engine anymore than it is already.

i look down the pipes in both TOR and Shorty TOR, and can see my toes. if that is not open pipes its close. and leaving the catalytic converter alone makes for some moderation of back pressure.

my question is that I want a parallel-pipe look with the parallel twin, and prefer to leave the catalytic in place.

like the bonnie look, matter o fact, wonder what else could be done to this cruiser bruiser to make it a big old bonnie, or t-bird grandis?

paint the goat horns on the tank... bigger badges... chrome wheels.... chrome fenders.. nah no chrome fenders.

I wouldn't mind some chrome paint edge protectors for the fenders...... Our fender is half round.

isnt there a kink in the cans to angle onto the cat?
if so unless you get a connector the hd pipes or any slip on wont fit....
