| Posted : 26 Feb 2018 - 02:25 Post title : Side Stand Extention | | Has anyone come across an accessory to make the kickstand easier to reach? On my Storm I usually flail my leg a few times before I can retract the stand.

| Posted : 27 Feb 2018 - 17:14 Post title : Re: Side Stand Extention (Re: Nigel) | | I have taken a low tech approach to this problem. first off i slid a length of pipe over the little peg that stick out from the kickstand and carefully bent it out a little. then I cut off a 4 inch long piece of 3/8 black heater hose, softened it up in boiling water and pushed it on over the little peg, with 1/2 -3/4 inch stick out past the ball end.
its grippy on the toe of your boot and you don't really see it. and it costs almost nothing
