I currently have the Triumph long haul seat and like it, however, it does start to get uncomfortable in the butt area after about an hour. If anyone has had both the long haul and the Mustang can you tell me if the mustang is a big improvement over the Triumph long haul. It looks like a deeper dish and more support. Would upgrade if it provides an improvement over the long haul.

I've not owned a long haul seat but I do have the mustang seat, which is uber comfy, if the tank was big enough I could ride all day long, it does feel firm but for my skinny ass its perfect.

i had the long haul seat for around 30K miles, then changed to the mustang seat. the mustang does have more lower back support and the pillion is wider. it seats the ride about an inch farther forward, which felt odd at first, but I quickly got used to it. the seating position is more upright than the long haul. have about 15K miles on the mustang.

i have done back to back 600 mile plus days on both seats and the mustang is more comfortable.

I had the Long haul for a couple of years and the Mustang is a huge improvement.

Consider an Airhawk too, good reviews.
