He mate. The original pictures release by Triumph (the blue and white one with the T bars) have the chrome wheels fitted...check the Lounge pictures thread. I ordered them for my Bird...do it . They are much easier to clean and IMHO look better.

Birdy,

Where did you get the tank badge? Do you have a part number? Did it follow the lines of the tank or did you have to modify it?

if you have the money buy them, my t140 has them and they are so easy to keep clean and look great.
its not just the cost to buy but the fitting on top. if you can fit yourself you will be quids in. alternatively try to buy from a dealer that will fit them for you free. a mate of mike was asked for £100 per wheel fitting

This bike has cost me a fortune so far, so i can't justify it. Especially when i'm coming up on my 12k and it's gonna cost me another $600, then i'm looking at tires AGAIN quite soon, so another $500. (unless i get the cams too, then it would be $1100-1200) Add to that other things i want for it and the wheels just look a million miles away because i can do MANY of the things i want for the cost of the wheels. This thing drains my wallet unlike anything i ever owned.

They are the Rocket III Touring badges. They don't really follow the lines of the tank, but you can heat them up before you apply them and they go on OK.
