1600,Foran Razorbacks, Meerkat bypass, Dyno tune, real headlight,plenty of chrome,switchblade pegs, Nitron R3 shocks & Ikon progressive fork springs etc. Scorpion Western Low handlebars. PH adjustable fork caps.

But i gotta say, the work it takes to check and adjust valves on this bike is nothing short of complete insanity. I don't know if i will ever have another bike at my age, but if i do i can assure you never again will i buy anything who's valves require a procedure that might be more work then rebuilding the top end on some bikes ! I dunno WTF triumph was thinking with a design like that but had i known when i bought the bird i may not have ! No wonder dealers are charging about 500 bucks to do it.

Yeah, i've been riding it for the last 2 months a no problems. Except.... i didn't screw down the radiator cap properly so was leaking coolant. Rookie mistake.
Also, I used all the right tools but it didn't solve the "clunk" on startup that i get. Some said it is making sure you have the rotor tool in place. It didn't make it any worse but didn't make it any better.
BTY I wish this site had notifications because I don't always see someone having posted a comment and I have to manually check them, which kind of sucks

Mine was a very loud, deep noise that you felt through the bike, coming from the crankshaft/case area and it would only do it once when cold, never when warm or hot. It happened to Peter as well, though not as bad as mine. We are positive that we caused it when we did the valves on both bikes the first time. We didn't have the proper rotor holding tool so used the gearbox and rear brake to lock the crankshaft and get the correct torque, obviously we upset the torque compensator or gearbox or clutch or all three!
Once I redid mine with the tool (releasing and removing the rotor/flywheel) and set torque it went awat and has never returned. 
BTW, pretty sure I have heard the same noise from some harleys on start up.
