Hi new to this computing lark and looking for some help. I want to fit some panniers to my TBIRD but I do not like the Triumph bags. I would like hard lockable bags (in gloss black...If possible). I have rear dresser bars, quick release sissy bar (back rest), I have also fitted high flow short exhausts and touring seat. Anybody know of a supplier for bags and fitting brackets that would fit. Any help would be great. Thanks Fatboy

That's exactly what I am looking for but do not think they would fit with the rear engine dresser bars already on my bike.

True, they may not. Do u have crash bars in the front? That should be sufficient. The bags are great though. I was a bit skeptical about how they would look on the bike. But, they actually have the same lines as the T-Bird so it doesnt look bad. Lots of compliments. Alot of people think they are stock.

Those panniers look the muts nuts. Like them V much.
Any chance of any more photos? Like how wide are they on the bike?

Check out my "My Mods..." thread in the Accessories forum for my install of the Tsukayu hard bags. Go past the first set... there was a final set that worked out much better.

Same HardStreet Slimbags as pictured in glossy above on my bike are satin. Will fit your bike just fine. Go to the thread on Saddlebag options and read through it, all the details about installing these bags are there with pictures.

Welcome to the forum Fatboy!! (that name is familiar - isn't also the name of a tactor or something?).

With sissy bar (I don't normally carry pillion so having everything detachable is perfect).

and without (my prfered set up)..

Yes that is a Cravat (Zolti - yes I will name and shame him)

....and when you take them off you are not left with an ugly bracket..

Now Fasteddy from this site will sort you out as he did for me. Tsukayu Bags and Easybrackets very happy with them - only issue is that they may need a bit of support to prevent a bit of side to side movement (will find a solution to that though). Done 500 mile trip in heavy rain and no water ingress (wish I could say the same for my waterproof suit). Also Mick at custom cruisers Alfreton www.customcruisers.com might be able to help. He is a HD guy but very helpful and has some good stuff if you look beyond the leather Harley underpants (not his in the shop I mean).

Eddy has some great stuff...www.fasteddysports.com

Hi Fatboy, I originally fitted front & rear dresser bars, wife found rear bars a minor irritation (so I ignored her) but I then dropped the bloody thing because of those rear bars; doing a U-turn in a wide empty road, put inside foot down for a trials-type dab, foot hooked under rear bar and down we went. Off came the rear dresser bars. From what I could see, it's the front bars that save the bike from any damage.

the slimbags mentioned do fit and you can get dresser bars (rear) to fit. i ordered mine from america with no fuss and also the lockable detatchable brackets, not cheap (import duty) but not many in this country............see thread on panniers - very useful. you can see mine fitted on my profile

Thanks Bobbieboy. When you say not cheap (import duty), how much of a shock is that going to be for me? regards Fatboy.

Slimbags - they were willing to put a lower gift price on outside so paid about £30 but should have been double that. They were very helpful and took about 7 days from order to door.

Same applied to easy brackets with about £18 to pay.

Postage is a sod with about 90 and 20 dollars extra
