Sign me up. What's the pricing? I did send a PM in regard to one of these in addition to the adjusters once you have more.

So what grips will fit our bikes with Mat's sleeve? I am liking the Avon MT Air Cushion grips.

There are a few threads on the subject, here are two: Link and Link

I put a set of Avons on Mat's (100% trouble-free) throttle sleeve - added a short extension due to length of these particular grips, tho probably wasn't necessary. Result could not have been better, will always be grateful to Mat for making these.

Nice tidy job. I really like those grips - time to change.

High praise from the man himself! Thanks, Mat, but you're responsible for the fact that I haven't had to give my throttle a moment's thought since installing your replacement. This was never a job for plastic IMO.

Grips are Avon MT-CC-85-CH metric cruiser grips. Chrome end caps eliminate bar-end weights, perfect fit once rubber grips are separated from Avon's plastic sleeve. Aluminum cap was added for length (these are long grips) and to allow screwed-on chrome end cap.
(Business end of Avon's throttle sleeve in photo was cut off to assist with forcing sleeve out of rubber grip.)

Mat1600, be carefull, Changing to Avon's. You will do your self out of making the replacement sleeve. as the Avon's don't suffer the same problem as the KY's.
I have had the Avon's since Feb 2013 and have had them apart a couple of time an all is good.

Well Gerry, its all about piece of mind. Not so bad in England if your throttle tube disengages its self from its working life as we are never that far from help. But in your far away, dusty, flat, arid, spider infested, man eating kangaroo locations I know which I would want fitted.
