I have just installed these exhausts. Not happy with the sound. They are decatted.
I had some turnouts on prior to them and they sounded awesome!!
I'll probably go back

I emailed Dave Platt and he said it's not possible to remove the baffles
This might be a silly question... would it be possible to maybe puts some holes in the cat delete pipes to get a better sound
Don't get me wrong these pipes are way throatier than the short tors.
I love the look not the sound.

Jason.
You can do it, but i don't think it will work for you.
The brain will have trouble locating where the sound comes from, since there a multiple sources, confusing and blurring the picture, especially since the high decibel sound will come from underneath the bike, not where to be expected, from the mufflers.

Most likely, it will not increase sound as much as it adds a "hissing" noise. Not recommended.

You can do that, it's actually not a bad idea, if you want more sound. The sound is though difficult to control. It will differ with the length of the pipe, and where you place it.

I would recommend that you take a thin walled tube that is slightly bigger in diameter than the inside tube, and you slice it lengthwise, only one cut. Then you press it in, and start experimenting with length, position, etc.

Remember to weld on some hooks that you can pull it our again.

I just installed these pipes, and I love the sound and volume...each to his own I guess, but I don't want my bike obnoxiously loud like some of these straight-piped Harley's running around...
