My wife felt like the stock passenger foot pegs where lacking. They are sort of plain so we started to look for replacements. She did not want floor boards but wanted them to "match" the rest of the bike. We ended up picking up a pair of Triumph branded highway pegs and the appropriate adapter kit ( "and we had that engine running just like a song" ref. They don't make em like they used to thread)

They where in when I went in for my service today. I ended up having to chase the threads in the adapters and go find new bolts to replace the too short supplied pieces, but I am pleased with the result. She ended up with a wider longer peg with nice rubber traction pads and they look nice than the stock bits.

They are listed as " Highway Pegs - Logo Badge (Thunderbird) Part # A9750459 High Gloss Chrome Highway peg, Features Rubber Foot Grip and Triumph Logo. For use with either A9750455 or A9750463 Mounting Kits. Price $84.99

It did require an adapter but not the ones listed as they are intended for Highway bars. The adapters are Kuryakyn PN 8802 and the package says it fits Honda and Suzuki (?). The bolts supplied by Triumph are to short. I was surprised to find they where sae rather than metric. but I ended up with some stainless 5/16 - 18 X 2.5 and they went together perfect once i cleaned out the rust and extra chrome from the adapter threads.

I don't know if they are the same a the Rocket?

I was looking at those early on to replace my rider pegs wit. But i asked around ro see if they would work for the rider positions and someone said no. From that pic it looks like they might, no?

Gonzo, you do realize those are highway pegs not passenger (or even driver) footpegs right? Granted it might be nice if they were all universal but the mounting system for a highway peg is completely different to a standard footpeg. The supplied bolts weren't short for their intended purpose but short for the modified purpose and adapters are only needed because they're being used for something other than they were intended...

They look nice - that's for sure!

I would only be worried to know if they could/would support the full weight of a person when 'climbing' onto the 'Bird!?
As Highway pegs, you don't really apply much weight/force onto them - but foot peg you 'stand' on...

But - they do look the beeez neeez

This was a concern of mine as well. But they are stout pieces and I had a 300lb friend "test" them for me before I put my (much) better half on them. Given she wieghs about a third of what he does, I have declared them safe. We went for a nice long ride yesterday and she likes them much better than the stock pieces.
