put these flame stickers on my bike. cost me $50 and are totally removable

Are these chromed side covers are made from metal or plastic ?

Assuming these are the standard OEM accessory side covers, they're plastic, just like the painted ones... but are about 1/10th the cost of the painted ones. (Don't get me started!!!)

As for the flames, not really my thing but they DO look good.
