Hi one and all. My name is Richard and from the South West in the UK. I just got my bird and loving it. I had a gear indcator on my last bike VN 900 and would like to put it on the bird but can anyone tell me where the plug is to conect it to. I have looked but I can't see where it is. If some one has got one on can you please tell me what wire goes to which spade as I think the wiring is a different plug. I am not 100percent with the wiring, so if you have got one on your bike would you send me a picture so I can see what way the coloured wire goes to which spade. It would be very much appreciated. Hi Richard, welcome to the best T-Bird forum on the 'net!
There is no gear indicator connection that I'm aware of, unless you can tap into the OBD2 port somehow. A few here have gone the aftermarket route, a search for 'gear indicator' should turn something up. (Suggest limiting search to 2 years at a time.)
