"The catalyst box is secured to the frame by a single fixing on the right hand side, and is located on a stud and grommet on the left hand side." ______________________________________ It may be necessary to loosen the entire header pipe to allow the catalytic converter to slide off the stud on the left hand side of the frame. ______________________________________ The elbows fit easily into a new muffler end. Since the clamps on the stock system may have crushed in the slotted ends of the header pipes and the mufflers, it may be necessary to carefully open the ends to allow your new JBQ elbows to fit. A snug fit is best, but use caution not to damage the gasket. Inspect the gaskets from the stock setup, and replace if necessary. Short end of elbow fits into muffler, long end into header pipe. There are many variations in fueling/mufflers/air filtration. The test bike ran well with the stock map utilizing stock mufflers and stock air filter or K&N replacement filter.
