sadly, I evidently not perfected the use of the search function on this forum.

I am looking for info on how people have modified their stock exhausts, and their impressions of the bike after the modifications.

Can we start a write-up thread on peoples exhaust mods?

thanks

I wanted a little more sound so I took a breaker bar and hammer then punched through the baffle plates (took about 2 minutes for the job total). More and deeper sound. Not as good a sound as high end pipes, but wayyyyyy cheaper (free).

I talked with Peter per e mail in Australia who sells the merkat
Bypass pipe..he recommended 15= 3/8 holes in each pipe to get the same effect as the long TORS.. I have the short tors and I am experimenting with the stock pipes now...let yu know..

Did the welds on the back pipes just break out easy?
