Can anyone tell me what aftermarket handlebars fit our bikes or provide the companies that make bars for the Tbird? As a side note, can someone provide the measure from center to center on our risers?

Any 1inch bars fit, I have 1 inch western bars supposedly for a Harley, made by Scorpion and they fit fine. The Scorpion bars come with an indentation for the throttle and switch block, so no drilling required.
not sure about the centre measurement

I like the Triumph T bars myself, but there is also a company here in Aus called Burleigh Bars Link Centre to centre is 115mm.

the thunderbird risers are 4.5" center to center i believe, much of the knurled bars out there for Harley or any other bike for that matter (1" bars) are done at 3.5" or 3" that always a challenge when looking to swap out our bars. You can get bars with no knurling and do it yourself (small pipe knurling kit) or use a few tricks used by many (google it) instead. Fab shops etc should be able to do it for you as well. I have the storm, used the factory risers and added 2" Harley extensions on them and they are pretty good for me right now.

Try Road 6 customs. They actually make Handlebars, and will cut the knurls how you want them.

Heck, they'll make the handlebars how you want them. Not as expensive as some of the others either.

Flanders metric bars (1" and up with proper knurling).
Look around this site, you'll find all sorts of suggestions - and a lot of info that should explain what considerations are involved.
Brake line/cables and grips, to name two.

I am liking the Triumph T bars as well. I looked at the Burleigh bats, but those things are crazy expensive. Like $600 US!!!! I can get the Triumph bars for $220US shipped to my house.

Hi

I'm new here but have had Triumphs, Norton's and even a Matchless since 1965. I have a 2010 Thunderbird SE as my daily rider and a 1970 Bonneville as my trailer queen. Short arms have always forced me to look at alternatives to Triumph's stock handle bars. The Thunderbird was the worst of the lot. My America was the best. Go figure. Anyway I found the enclosed link on the net and it is a must have if you are looking for the perfect fitment! I just got the bike back from my local dealer as the cables and brake line needed to be custom made. Good ole Triumph offers nothing for extended cables or brake lines anymore. I opted for a set of Harley bars...(I know, I know....) that were 2" higher with 2" greater pull back. The link below let me figure out what I needed. They are Awesome.

Link

Cheers
