Anyone used mirror extenders on current TB 1600 mirrors? Make and photos if anyone can supply.

1/2" copper plumbing pipe. 8" long. Extends mirrors 3".
Drill and tap holes in mirror stems 2" from cut ends (on bottom). Drill and countersink 1/2" from each end of pipe.
Would be a lot nicer chromed, but getting very hard stateside to get chrome work done.
Kinda tacky, but works. Someday, I'll find a place to get it chromed.

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

Good idea but will not work with my mirrors as they are flat angled bar stems.
The type you see on the oval Triumph mirrors.

You thinking of towing a caravan, then?
