While at my dealers this evening I saw their latest modification - a HUGH single lamp!
Looks nice actually... Reminded me of the Speedmaster.

Interesting...

Hope it helps someone with their ideas!

I can't decide if it looks like there was a surplus sale at a lighthouse or if someone chromed the eye from on top of the tower in Lord of the Rings...

Thats what i wanted on mine at first. But i grew to appreciate the stock one more. Odd how that happens. I wonder if i put that one on if i would eventually appreciate it more than the stock. Do i even like anything about the looks of my bike or did i just get used to it?!

Birdy, with the twin tbars on this bike are they the standard, they look a little taller or maybe just
the pic angles

@ Sean,
Not 100% sure on the make/model. Will be going to the dealer again tomorrow (hopefully) to collect my Speed Triple Fly Screen thingy! So I'll make it a point to squeeze out all informations.
Regarding the indicators:

@ Paladin,
They are the standard OEM Accessory TT-Bars. Strange how the camera angle makes you think and wonder.

I just find it good/interesting to see new ideas - changes - challenges.

definately not taller. The Tbars are lower and back a bit compared to stock

It is a spot on for an America or Speedy, just went and had a look at mine, including the base mount.

The mounted turn signals from Kellermann looks ugly on the Tbird, way to small i think.
Probably bar-end-turn-signals from the same company would look good.

Is there an afterlife ?

Dutch member Speed_Bird has done the same mod and posted about it some time ago.
Can't seem to find his post but here is a picture taken from his album

That conversion when seen on the bike as a whole looks pretty good (I'm still a HUGE fan of the stock light though) but those up close pictures look like a surplus search light and strapped it on the front of the bike.....

Thanks for bringing these pics back up Denis. It definitely puts things in perspective.

(oh, and I gotta say, I'm not a fan of the q-tip (cotton bud) turn signal mod though)

Same thoughts here, at first I thought a bigger light would be better. But I got used to the stock light, and it fits with the mid screen good. And I like the look with the screen off.
I do ride the America to work some days, and look at the light and think, boy it it big.
Then again, I thought the same thing with the gas tank. Now the America tank look so small, and the TB tank is just right.

when I first got my bird, i was hell bent on changing the light did not like it at all
but like a lot of things with this bike it justs grows on you.

I now think the standard light is a nice custom piece and provides a distinctive look
unmistakeably T Bird

I think the larger headlamp makes the Bird look a bit more aggresive. The Q tip indicators from Kellerman are ugly and really expensive however they do make them now with built in rear and brake lights for the back ! I talked to my triumph dealer about fitting the front forks from the Speedmaster on the Bird to make it look a bit more brutal but he said that would mean a hell of a lot of conversion work (money).

Looks like the front edging for a Rocket III fender..... where is should stay.

Ok, that's not true. They should take it off the Rocket as well....
