I don't foresee putting it back on the bike and its taking up space in the garage. It's flawless. Does anyone want it or do I just trash it?

Drop it on eBay. There will be people that either damage theirs or buy a second hand bike with a duel seat setup. I did ... paid circa 40 bucks for an unused seat. Someone might also like to have a custom seat built with the plastic pan/chassis.

I am a stock seat lover. I got a stock seat off of a member here and rebuilt it, and had it re-upholstered. he gave me the seat, I gave him a carton of beer
I like the stock seat and have it on the bike at the moment, but I have no arse either

Not worth anything, no, but I save mine for the day when I trade in my bike, that way I can throw the stock seat back on and resell the Mustang separately. No way I'm going to hand in my $600 two-piece Mustang with backrest on a bike that I'd get just as much for (or theraebouts) as with the stock seat.

agreed. keep the stock items. i kept everything that came with the bike even though none of it is currently on the bike. (handlebars, exhaust, seats, mirrors, etc)

one day you might want to trade her in, and when you do, just re-install all the stock items, and sell the upgraded stuff on ebay. that stuff will sell faster and for more money.

so you keep a "few" more items in the garage. wife got used to it. but then again, it's "my" garage.

LOL! That's the way to roll! I too regard that part of the property the same way ... so much so that the garage is alarmed and monitored with a system seperate from the rest of the property ... and the wife doesn't have the access codes. No need for you to be in there 'KEEP OUT'.

I should add that she has out buildings for the horses and I don't go anywhere near them ... by choice
