2010 Tbird with National Cycle 2-up screen. Im getting a lot of turbulence from below. Does anyone know of lowers that fit? National cycle says theirs do not fit on a Tbird... Was looking at the Memphis shades lowers from Fast Eddy (Link but Im not sure if they fit on a Tbird. (his site does not say and he hasnt answered my emails).
What other lower solutions work? Does anyone else have lowers along with the National Cycle Switchblade series?
Thx

The Memphis work just fine. You just have to order the correct fork tube mounts for them. I have them on my Bird.

I've got the Switchblade screen[s] with the Memphis Shades lowers, MEM9899. The lowers made a huge difference.

Thanks PapaSmurfMC So you used these brackets with the large Fork deflector plastics. But you have the auxiliary light bar with re-located signal lights... I dont have that but maybe I will have to go that route... Interesting.

Just an FYI - The 9899 kit fits but just barely with a National Cycle Switchblade screen. The 9899 kit has fairly short attachment extensions for the plastic lowers with about a 1 inch drop angle... What is needed is a longer bracket with about an inch more drop built into it as well. Maybe the 9884 kit bracket would be better.

With the aux light bar, plenty of room for the lowers with a Switchblade screen, even the 2Up. Got the Switchblade Deflector mounted in the pic but the spacing of the mounting brackets shown allows exchange with the 2Up without any adjustments and the lowers clear the dresser bars at full lock, using the MEM9899 mounts.

Smurf, what kind of lowers are you using? I made my own from a template and plexi glass and they cracked from wind pressure near the clamp. But yours are bent to prevent pressure build up. Real nice.

Thanks. Made them myself out of 0.250" Lexan.

How do you get the curve?

Not great pictures but you can see how they dont stick out far enough and are too high for the National 2_up wind screen

The full frontal - See how they should be a bit lower...

Made a form out of dowels, layed out on a cookie sheet and heated in oven, 300 degrees, for about 10 minutes. Note: that's for 0.250" Lexan; different thickness or other acrylic will take different temps/times.
