Dammit. I really like this Clearview windshield and I don't mind paying $150 or so for the shield - but I refuse to pay $198 for the very overpriced Triumph brackets too... thieves. I wonder if there is another option. I currently have the National Cycle harware and the Chopped shield

Tough call. If it works better than what you have perhaps it's worth it. The whole windscreen thing is a crapshoot, due to your height, wants and riding style.

I'm surprised you haven't been happy with the National Cycle Slingshot series.

Does anyone ever sell the Triumph hardware on eBay?

Gotta say Jeff, I liked it too and still do but had to buy the OEM screen too, just so I could get the hardware to mount it. First time I ordered the Clearview it came with holes in the wrong place and they happily replaced it with the newer bracket set up. But comparing the two.. OEM Vs Clearview? Clearview wins hands down on looks and less turbulence but it is an expensive accessory given you have to buy OEM in order to obtain mounting brackets.
