And, as Birdy once said, you usually get a nice quiet table by yourself when you walk into a restaurant wearing a good coating of bugs

For the 3/4 I have a pair of Aviators...you have to do them up tight...at anything over 90mph the strap tends float of the back of the lid, too fiddly to change lens although you can

For the peanut lid I have a pair of Ugly Fish...not bad at all

I have a pair of the wiley x there not bad, but do like the look of these ugly fish if there practical as well
might pick up a set of these. good one

I have used the ugly fish glasses for 10yr they are great.good vision, made well and don't fog up as much as other glasses i have used
you can also get them in a set with the dark lense, yellow lense and clear lense, with detachable arms so you can fit the strap witch comes in the three pack.
and spare parts are easy to get.

But the wait is worth it, believe me. This helmet is fantastic. And I can't believe it only costs 99 euro. I went to the shop to get the new Lazer I posted earlier but when I saw this Givi and tried it on I just had to have it.
The latch is also something I really like.

Some pictures of my new safety item

There appears to be some extra padding over the lower part of the helmet that isn't there in the earlier pictures. The pictures you took seem to show a 'leatherette' type covering over the ear / cheek pads that make the padding come lower on than on the other picture. Is this a case of early marketing picture vs actual delivered product or is there something else going on there?

Thanks

Should be, I did nothing to it beside buying. Didn't now the brand before I bought it and after the purchase looked them up on the net.
Now, I do believe the cover was added to camouflage the perforated grey padding making it all look black.
In real the padding does not protrude enough to be noticed. I took a picture from a low view point and of course that makes it more noticeable.

You can attach the UK flag to the helmet, GIVI sells this accessory

Believe me - it's MUCH easier to wipe splattered bugs off leather/leather look-a-like than trying to pick them out of that meshing stuff!!!

I know - personal experience

I'm thinking and thinking why would anyone wear braincap or 3/4 helmets without a visor and no, can't come up with any good reason. Maybe you guys live in the areas with zero bugs or something? Even the rain hurts like hell when your riding 120km/h (some 75mph).

Decided to pension off my old open face, tried one of these on at the local and wound up buying the sturgis plain
went for a ride this morning very impressed, this is a good helmet with snug padding and comfortable fit
and they hold their position in a wind blast , for a $130 cant go past these

Thanks for the tip Fab
