What a bike!!!
I rode one on monday as a loan bike from the dealership and thought I would do a little review as it more than impressed me
since their release about six months ago, I have had a 'want' for one of these, but now have a 'burning desire'
It comes off the floor with 95hp, and all the bells and whistles that one could desire, from 3 traction control modes, 4 rider modes, cruise control, fully adjustable front and rear suspension, seat adjustable etc.... but what impressed me most was the power of the tripple motor and the smoothest bloody gearbox I have ever ridden on any bike. ever.
the 800 XC was the bike of desire for me, until I rode this XCX, the extra X meaning all the extras, I suppose.
I rode it mostly 2 up for about 100 or so kms, and at first getting used to the different upright riding position was strange, but after 4 or 5 kms I was right with it
It handles and breaks like a sports bike, it pulls up hill even with the two up I had the pleasure of over taking the MG car club out for a mountain ride.
I honestly couldnt find fault with it.
The Bridgestone Battlax tyres gave plenty of confidence too.
I loved it... I NEED one
anyone else ridden one, or own one?

Nice work Dermoti wouldn't mind one my self .It would be a great choice to ship around and explore different parts of the world
Now that you've worked yourself into a lather, have fun with the next few sleepless nights

I'm trying to get hold of one of these I'm just struggling to come to terms with offloading my Bandit 1250 . I haven't riden the new one yet but I rode the the old model and loved it. Great bike for getting off the beaten track. One life too many bikes to own.
