The rear floorboards come with the extention that enables you to move the board around. Can a person skip the extention part and mount the hinge and board at the same level as the current footrest and then swivel it on the teeth a bit? Looks like you can but hard to say. Hope that made sense.

I didn't pull it apart to check for certain, but looked at mine, and it sure looks like you can.
Easy enough to put back if it doesn't fit, though.

thanks Bob, just nice to be able to tuck it out of the way if a person does not need to move them about to much, depends on the passenge i guess.

Looked a bit closer today, and though the left side does not appear to be an issue, it looks as though the right side may not have the necessary clearance with the chrome (front) drive pully cover when the board is folded up. Again, I didn't pull it off to check but it just looks like the inch or so outward offset provided by the pivoting mount gives the clearance needed.

thanks, i looked as well when i got them, seems that the teeth are also different on the board hinge versus the extention portion which makes no sense, just reduced the options a person would have with them.
