Its on the wrong side.....but it looks like someone laid out the carpet for your dismount.

You mean this?

or this?

Had this R3Classic some years ago for a couple of years in my possession. Was fun to ride the CT.
But am not sure if this new R3T will get one Depends on if I will do some Xcontinent rides.
That CT on the pic did back and fort San Diego, California - Dead Horse, Alaska and was still like new!

The 1. pic MC tire lasted only from Pennsylvania to California.

This Classic is my brothers and the bike is now in Finland.

A CT will last up to 80,000 miles verses 8-10,000 miles. So it's a no brainer as to which tire to use.And then, the CT is usually half the price of the MC tire. But unfortunately, due to the swing arm design on the Tbird,[too narrow on the front of it as it's rounded instead of square like most bikes] there's not enough clearance. But believe me,"IF" I could have found one that would have fit,it would have been on there a loooooooooooooooooooooong time ago.I've changed so fuckin many rear tires over the 81,000 miles I owned this machine, that I got a zipper on the bike and can almost change em in my sleep.

I traded a Rocket III for my TBird. LOVED the Rocket but I'm not riding distance any more and it is a bit of a handfull until you get it going. I did the Dragon with it and it kept up nicely with anything on the road. The TBird is a delight to handle though. No regrets about the trade at all.

Mita kuuluu Pappasgarage,

Were you riding north on the 5 to the 78 around 3:00 today? A red Rocket looking like yours and a Thunderbird flew by me near the 805/5 merge.

Where did you learn your Finnish?

Yeah, it was me and my buddy Weatherman, just cooling off and putting on some miles. Yes we passed a Storm? around that time.
We are both retired so we have all the time to exploit SoCal. What brings you to the neighborhood?

My wife (we're separated) is from Finland, so I know a few words. I've been there many times and love it there, but being from SoCal I don't think I could take the long winters. I was heading up to watch my daughters softball game at Oceanside High School.
