G'Day

Looking at the Kuryakyn transformer fold down chrome rack, dont mind the look of them,
just waiting on a response from the supplier, wondering if anyone has had some info on these
to see if they will fit our machines.

Well spotted,I really like the design. As I have some custom made brackets on mine ,i may be able to adapt them to fit this . It doesn't look like they do brackets for the Bird.

just throw on the fold down rack when I am doing an overnighter.

That sounds interesting ,Have you a pic of that. I need some ideas of packing gear on the bike without getting huge bags on the side.

I've been looking too but the rack with the Triumph rig is kind of small. Need something to pack more than a tshirt in but anything with space will hang off the standard rack.

This is the saddle roll I have and found it very useful for 90% of the things you get up to,
I have a larger bag for a lengthy road trip.

I got a roll from Saddleman that was less expensive than that link. It looks similar to that one. I really like mine. I can fit my jacket and pants in it.

if you get a mo I would be interested in
how does it look width wise against the rear?
whats the spacing like between the outer edge of the rack and the bikes rail?
a dry run pic would be appreciated if possible please

if not i can wait to see your finished result

Had another look - yep - gunna get me one of these. It is the exact fitting for my custom brackets - just need to re drill the mount holes and weld the others up. Glad I didn't chrome them yet.

Nice find

Hey Zolti

just saw that, thats a great price for the quality of the product !, hadnt tried hd fittings my understanding is they wont fit.

I am just in the process of getting some brackets made up, with assistance of Mats drawings.

As soon as I get mine done I will post some info
