Trying to do something a bit different with the storm. Has anyone put the chrome side covers on one, if so can you share a couple pics? thanks.

I don't have a Storm but I did put the chrome side covers on my T-bird. Hope this helps.

You asked for an opinion. A bit much for me, even on a silver bike. But then, that's just me. If you like them, by all means have them.

Ya well i am trying something a bit outside the box with the storm. Chrome gill (seen one pic of a guy with it on and it looked rather nice) my speedmaster was a total black bike just looking to do something a bit different is all. thanks.

I have a Marble Red Haze TBird, so I think it'd be sacreligious to replace the beautiful paint job with chrome.
That being said, growing up in the '60s, I love chrome goodies, and don't mind the extra polishing time for the "Wow" factor.
Also "chrome" plastic always struck me as a bit cheezy.
Not sure of your model, but if you have a flat black Storm, it seems that any chrome would be out of place.

no its the clear black so looks shiny, here is a pick of another bike i found with the front chrome grill, i think it looks different and pops the front end. I also have the front and rear crash bars, as well as the QR large screen with chrome trim and a chrome luggage rack, chrome caliper covers and a mustang seat. i am thinking it will look nice, different but still nice?????? so picture this set up only with the chrome side covers????

If this is your bike hope its ok to post a pic of it, was out on the net :-)

Love the chrome wheels Wazza!
Next tire change, I'll have mine powder coated.
Can't find any more chrome shops around here.
Uncle Sam has seen to that!

I'll happily swap my Chrome panels for any Black ones out there - I have a 2010 1600
