So I've got a 2 car garage with room for only one. That's because in addition to my Storm, I have my snowblower (for the winter) and a boat project I'm working on. So I needed a way to move the Storm around the garage easily.

Bought this before Christmas, and just remembered to load a photo. It was around $80-90 plus S&H. Works great, but definitely wouldn't fit anything with a bigger rear tire. Only wish it had a) slightly larger wheels, because my garage floor is pitted pretty good, and b) an "outrigger" on the other side so that I could bolt on a front wheel chalk so the bike would sit upright rather than leaned over on the stand.

Otherwise, 10min to assemble, and works for what I needed it to.

Neat bit of kit ... I can see the benefit of that. You could buy slightly bigger diameter castors if the floor is a problem ... they look like they just bolt on from here. I've seen loads of variations and as long as you don't go too big they'd work fine.

Yep. I'm looking for a set of larger dia wheels now. I may make my own outrigger for the other side at some point, just so I can go more upright, and save some more precious space in the garage. For the rest of the winter, this will do, though.

Either new wheels, or resurface the floor, with a nice epoxy coating oughta work, too....albeit pricey.

Hi Jamie, I would remove outrigger and run a piece of square stock across since you are looking for new wheels you should be able to shim front to back to level it all out.

You've got the same rear tires, so all good.

I got a craftsmen m-cycle jack (the yellow one) for about $100-125 2 years ago. Then you need to bolt on a piece of plywood to get it to set just right on the oil sump. Search the threads here (like - motorcycle jack, or "lifting the bird").

"Upstate" NY definition varies, but we call anything north of Catskill NY and east of Syracuse NY upstate. West of Syracuse is Western NY, and below Catskill is CESSPOOL!!

I get to travel for work...heading to Savannah, GA on Sunday morning. So while it's cold, at least I get to escape once in a while!

A bit of topic, but I've got to ask what seat you have on?

If you're asking me, then it's the Triumph 2piece longhaul. Pillion is hanging o the wall in the garage at the moment.

Hehe, yeah maybe that wasn't obvious! I meant the seat that I saw in the photo, so that would be yours, yes. Thanks!

I've been thinking about getting the Triumph 2 piece longhaul as well, how to you like it? Is it a great improvement or?

Seats are highly subjective. yes, this is waaayyyy better than the stocker. But others will swear by the Corbins or any other aftermarket or custom made seat. This was in my budget (off the forum), so it worked great...and still does. Look around here for other options. Or, better yet, get out and meet some Tbirders in your area and check their seats, mods, and stuff out and try it out.

Thanks, I think I'll buy it this season, although I really don't have any problem at all with the stock one (maybe that's because my ass doesn't know any better).

Does change the riding position at all?

A little more rearward support on hard acceleration, and maybe a 1/2" higher and more forward. otherwise, great for me.

Not sure you can get it from this source in Australia, but give it a go:

Or just Google "low profile motorcycle dolly" and you'll get a range of sources, locations, etc.
