Has anyone relocated there ignition? I know you can just hit the kill switch, but I am in the habit of using the key only to turn off my bike.
It's a pain when you back into a park (down hill) holding the break on and trying to switch off the bike. My Speedmaster ignition was on the left side.

I guess if you got a headlight cowl it'd go someway to camouflaging the fugliness of the mod. I'm a kill switch guy ... have always used it to shut my bikes down. It'll be an interesting challenge though.

You could use an aftermarket one and rig it wherever you want. If you just want to move the stock one it won't happen unless you remove and re-weld the frame mounting bung somewhere else. In any case, there isn't much slack with the wires, and even just going to the other side of the bike, you'd have to extend the wires. If none of this bothers you, then you should be able to find a spot that makes you happy. I considered converting to a hidden switch, 1950's hotrod style. I like the bike too much to risk that though (if the wrong person watches you park it up it's all over) and ended up just keeping the key. A funny story pops into my head - once I left it parked on the street in Queens with the key dangling in it all night. Of course it was still there in the morning because it's in my garage now... but man was I angry at myself.
