The TB1600.com admins do a very admirable job at keeping them out. But when we do get infiltrated, and stupid shit like "Fake Passports" or "Buy Counterfeit Money" shows up, they're also on the ball when it comes to deleting those posts.
So, it's not really all that necessary to post "BUMP" messages on each and every thread category, just to move the spam message down the line a bit.
All that does is make others think that there's a new comment/post on an otherwise useful thread, just to find out someone just "bumped" it up a notch.
So "BUMP" of spam is pretty much of no value to the forum.
However.....sending the jackass spammer some spam of your own, from a new, nondescript email account, is beneficial. Especially if you happen to be able to load some kind of virus, too.
Otherwise, the only "bump" messages that are of any value here, is in the Classifieds section, or if you've got a post that seems to have had no answers (or at least no answers of value).
My 2 Cents, Jamie

(Re: bnz433) | | Actually it's probably a good idea to keep the spam at the top because then when admins check the site they will notice it and remove them all. If they are down the list they would have to check every forum every time to know if there are any spam posts. And if they aren't necessarily here looking for that then unless they check something in one of the forums where there is one, they wouldn't even notice. So i say bump them with a "you scumbag" or some other flattering response and they will be more likely to be seen and therefore deleted quicker.
